LEBANON, Ill. – The Bearcats welcomed GLVC newcomer Upper Iowa University to the Melvin Price Convocation Center for the first-time in the program's history. The Peacocks snapped the Bearcats three-game winning streak by the score of 97-83.
McKendree had four guys in double figures led by Milos Vicentic with a game-high 27 points on 12-of-22 from the field. This is now the eighth time in twelve games, in which Vicentic has posted 20-plus points. Junior guard Joey Niesman posted his season-high of 20 points on an efficient 8-of-10 from the field. He also pulled down six rebounds and dished out four assists. Caleb Zurliene was 7-of-15 from the field for 14 points, with four blocks. Carson Parker was two rebounds shy of a double-double with 10 points and eight rebounds.
For the game, McKendree shot 37-of-71 from the field for 52.1 percent.
They will hit the road on Saturday, January 6th as they travel to Rolla, Missouri to take on the Missouri S&T Miners at 3:00 p.m.
