COLUMBIA, MO- The McKendree Women's Rugby Team traveled to Columbia, Missouri to compete in the Mid-America Rugby Union Women's Small College A Regional Playoffs this past Saturday. The Bearcats brought home third place, going 1-1 in competition. They were led by a powerful trio of athletes, Virginia Fountain, Kiona Connor, and Ruby Rios, who all scored tries for McKendree in the tournament. 

After competition Head Coach Daniel Jones had this to say, "Even though we got third place, we had players that had some of the best rugby I had ever seen them play!"

The Bearcats return to play at home against the University of Central Missouri on Saturday, April 13 at noon.
