FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The women's rugby team traveled to Arkansas for a match against Drury University on Saturday October 5th.
The Bearcats fell 30-14 after a try from
Sasha Fernandez-Ricci and a try from
Kiona Conner. Fernandez-Ricci also tacked on a conversion.
"The result is not what we wanted but all you can ask for as a coach is to see improvement week in and week out and that is what we had this weekend," said head coach
Daniel Jones on the weekend.
The Bearcats are back in action October 19
th, where they will travel to Rolla, Missouri to take on Missouri S&T. Game time is TBD.
