FINDLAY, Ohio – The McKendree men's golf team joined a loaded field at the 2024 Doc Spragg Invitational hosted by the University of Findlay. The field of 19 teams endured 54 holes of golf on October 14^th and 15^th at Findlay Country Club. In the field were fellow GLVC schools in the University of Missouri – St. Louis, Maryville University and the University of Indianapolis.

After a seven spot improvement in the final round, the Bearcats finished in 11^th place with an 890 (302-298-290). The Grand Valley State University Lakers won the event with an 840 (278-281-281).

Senior Thomas Tollefsen led the way for McKendree with a 218 (76-70-72) to finish in a tie for 22^nd. Trystan Du Plessis jumped up the leaderboard by 29 spots in the final day to finish in a tie for 27^th with a 220 (76-74-70). Sophomore Aidan O'Keefe tied for 66^th with a 228 (76-76-76). Griffin St. Pierre shot a 229 (77-80-72) to tie in 71^st place. Hata Iemkanitchat rounded out the McKendree lineup with a tie for 81^st by shooting a 233 (74-78-81).

The Bearcats will remain at home next week as they host the Bearcat Dual Gender on October 21^st and 22^nd at Far Oaks Golf Club.
