Women's Water Polo Set to Open 2024 Season at VMI Invite

LEXINGTON, Va. - The McKendree University women's water polo team is set to travel to Lexington, Va. Feb. 3-4 to compete in the VMI Invite.

On day one of the tournament the Bearcats will face Mount St. Mary's at 11:00 AM ET and the University of Toronto at 5:00 PM ET. On day two of the tournament, McKendree faces Virginia Military Institute at 9:30 AM ET and Villanova University at 12:30 PM ET.

The Bearcats' last matchup against Mount St. Mary's was back in 2022 where McKendree won 12-9. This will be the Bearcat's first matchup against the University of Toronto. McKendree also faced VMI in 2023 winning 16-8 and the Bearcats are currently 1-2 against Villanova.

All games will be streamed on ESPN+. Live statistics will also be available.
