Women's Water Polo Set to Compete in Macalester Invite

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Mckendree University women's water polo team is set to compete this weekend at the Macalester Invite in St. Paul, Minnesota at the Riley Pool.

On Saturday, the Bearcats will play Ottawa University Arizona at 9:00 AM and Macalester College at 2:00 PM. On Sunday McKendree faces Virginia Military Institute at 9:00 AM and Occidental College at 2:00 PM.

The Bearcats went up against Ottawa University and Macalester College for the first time last season, defeating the Wolves 16-9 and the Scots 14-9. The Bearcats have faced Virginia Military Institute already this season but were defeated with a score of 10-9. McKendree has faced Occidental College five times and their last matchup was in 2023 and they won with a score of 17-9.
