LEBANON, Ill. - McKendree University men's volleyball will celebrate Senior Day on Thursday, March 28 prior to its game against Ohio State at 7 pm. The Bearcats will honor setter Tyler Poulsen and outside hitter Kyle Wilson.
McKendree enters its final home contest of the season with a 14-8 overall record and an 8-5 record in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association. The Bearcats remain first in the nation for digs, second in kills, and third in assists. Junior middle blocker D'Aaron McCraney also ranks top five for hitting percentage, swinging for .403 percent.
Thursday's game is the first matchup between McKendree and Ohio State for the 2024 season. The Bearcats face the Buckeyes again next weekend in Columbus, Ohio.
Ohio State sports a 16-7 overall record and a 9-4 MIVA record, placing them second in the league standings. The Buckeyes lead the MIVA and are sixth in the nation in aces, averaging 1.73 per set; opposite side hitter Jacob Pasteur accounts for an average of .654 aces per set.
