Rebelo Selected as WWPA Offensive Player of the Week

LEBANON, Ill. - The Western Water Polo Association announced sophomore attacker Joey Rebelo as Offensive Player of the Week announced by the league office this Wednesday.

Rebelo earns her third weekly accolade of the season. Over the weekend, Rebelo helped her team go 3-0 at the WWPA Bearcat Clash. Rebelo scored 10 goals and added four assists, drawing four exclusions in the process. In the last game for McKendree against Mercyhurst University over the weekend, Rebelo scored five goals and dished out two assists.

Rebelo leads the WWPA in goals with 60 and points with 80. Rebelo also leads in goals per game averaging 3.3 goals a game.
