Rebelo Earns Second Offensive Player of the Week Award

LEBANON, Ill. - Women's water polo sophomore attacker Joey Rebelo was selected as the Western Water Polo Association Offensive Player of the Week announced by the league's office on Thursday.

Rebelo earns her second weekly season accolade as she won Offensive Player of the Week two weeks ago.

Over the weekend at the Convergence Tournament, Rebelo tallied 17 goals over four games helping her team to two wins. Rebelo had two six-goal games in wins over Caltech and Whittier, shooting 12-for-13. Against Whittier, Rebelo went 6-for-6 shooting and added four assists in the process. She leads the conference with 46 goals for the year and has a shooting percentage of .570.

The Bearcats are back in action at Augustana College this Saturday, March 9 in Rock Island, Ill.
