Five Women's Water Polo Players Named to WWPA Awards

VISTA, Calif. - The Western Water Polo Association announced its 2023-24 All-Conference honorees on Thursday morning. Five women's water polo Bearcats were named to the All-Conference list for the season.

Sophomore attacker Joey Rebelo was selected to First Team after being named WWPA Offensive Player of the Week three times this season. Rebelo currently is leading the conference in goals with 73 and goals per game with 3.3. Rebelo is also second in the conference in points with 97.

Junior goalie Sydney Kane was awarded to Second Team after being named WWPA Defensive Player of the Week twice this season. Kane leads the WWPA in save percentage with .570 and is runner-up in saves in the conference with 257.

Fifth-year defender Delaney Hall was named to the All-Defensive team after having 22 steals on the season. Senior attacker Jasmin Guzman snagged Honorable Mentions while freshman Hailey Munoz was named to the All-Freshman team.
