Women's Water Polo Falls in Semifinals of WWPA Championships

LA MIRADA, Calif. - The McKendree women's water polo team fell in the semifinals of the WWPA Championships falling to the California State University East Bay Pioneers with a score of 10-4.

The Bearcats were led in scoring by sophomore attacker Joey Rebelo with two goals. Senior attacker Jasmin Guzman and freshman attacker Hailey Munoz notched in one goal each. Defensively, junior goalie Sydney Kane secured 10 saves and freshman attacker Emma Dore tabbed in one steal. 

McKendree will battle Mercyhurst University at 1:30 p.m. central time in the WWPA 3rd place contest.
