Rebelo Achieves First Career All-American First Team Honor

LEBANON, Ill. - The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announced the selection of 15 student-athletes to the 2024 ACWPC Division II All-America Team. McKendree women's water polo sophomore standout Joey Rebelo earned her first career First Team All-American Honor.

The first-time honoree ended her sophomore year leading the Western Water Polo Association Conference in goals (79 goals), goals-per-game (3.2 gpg), and points per game (4.2 ppg). Rebelo finished second in the conference in points with 106 total points on the season.

Rebelo earned three WWPA Offensive Player of the Week accolades and won All-WWPA First Team to finish her sophomore season. In the WWPA Championships, the standout sophomore was awarded All-Tournament Second Team after six goals over three games.
