LEBANON, Ill. | Leemon Field - No.10 McKendree University men's soccer (5-0-2, 2-0-2 GLVC) played to a 1-1 draw on Friday night during a gusty outing against Drury at Leemon Field. The Bearcats struck first with an 88th minute goal by graduate defender
Matteo Schubert which broke the scoring drought in the contest. McKendree will look to capture a win and three points in conference on September 29 with a matchup against Southwest Baptist at 2:30PM.
The two squads entered the halftime intermission period with a deadlock at 0-0 behind nine total shots as McKendree put three up over the first 45 minutes. The Bearcats and sophomore goalkeeper
Christian Herluf thwarted multiple attempts by the Panthers over the first half before hammering the defensive line of Drury in the second period.

McKendree led 1-0 for about one minute before Drury received a free kick and found an assist out to put the game into a draw.
