LEBANON, Ill. – McKendree University women's hockey sophomore forward, Abby Jeffers has the chance to compete on the grandest stage of them all. Back on November 14th, she was selected to represent Team USA at the 2025 Winter World University Games in Torino, Italy.
"We are proud of Abby and the opportunity she has, to play for the United States on an international stage," said McKendree head coach Derek Pallardy.
Jeffers is one of seven players from the roster made up entirely of ACHA players from Minnesota. On the season, she has played in 19 games scoring three goals and adding 9 assists.
"Abby has obviously been a top offensive contributor for our team, but apart from her point totals there are details in her game that lay the foundation for her skills to shine. Those little things she consistently does well will make her capable of competing among some of the world's best college hockey players. We wish Abby and Team USA the best of luck at the Winter World University Games!"
