LEBANON, Ill. - McKendree University men's wrestling is set to begin the 2025-26 campaign in just over one week and will do so ranked No.13 in NCAA Division II while also being selected to capture its seventh Great Lakes Valley Conference crown, as anounced by the NWCA and GLVC on Thursday afternoon. The Bearcats rank five individuals, including returning starters in 141
Ronan Schuelke, 174
Zeke Waltz, and 197
Logan Kvien, while two are new to the poll for the Bearcats in 133
Thaddeus Long and 184
Darion Johnson. In the league poll, the Bearcats collected five first-place nods while amassing 25 points to lead the conference as squad led by head coach
James Kisgen pursues their seventh conference crown. McKendree starts its season on November 1 in Madison, Wisconsin against No.5 UW-Parkside at UW-Madison.
