LEBANON, Ill. – For the Bearcats last weekend road trip of the regular season, McKendree will be traveling to Lewis University followed by a trip to the University of Indianapolis (UIndy).

McKendree is entering this weekend sitting at 11th in the conference, with a record of 5-17, 3-5. The Bearcats are looking to end their two-game losing streak after falling during homecoming weekend. Senior outside hitter Destiny Gray is currently leading the Bearcats offense noting 234 kills on the season while freshman setter Peyton Uptgraft runs the show currently sitting at 565 assists. Defensively, senior libero Ashlyn Berczynski paves the way with 385 digs.

Lewis is standing at 8th in the GLVC going into the weekend with a 12-10, 3-4 record. Lewis is coming off a two-game losing streak as well, most recently falling to UIndy last weekend. Lewis is led offensively by junior outside hitter Lauren Buxton with 198 kills. Freshman setter Kaileigh Krawiec sets up the offense noting 420 assists followed by junior setter Lily King with 240 assists. On the defensive end, junior libero Elena Gubera leads the team with 344 digs.

UIndy is sitting in the 3rd spot in conference, with a record of 16-7, 6-1. UIndy is coming off a win against Lewis last weekend. Senior outside hitter Paige Parlanti paves the way for the offense with 266 kills while freshman setter Carly Fonda navigates everything noting 734 assists. Junior defensive specialist Macy Bruton heads to defense with 271 digs.

McKendree with be at Lewis on Oct. 31st for a 6:00 pm match and UIndy on Nov. 1st for a match at 3:00 pm.
