LEBANON, Ill. – The McKendree M3 Hockey team fell short in the second game against Indiana with a score of 2-8 on Saturday October 4th at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex.
In the first period, the Hoosiers were able to take an early lead, scoring three goals in the period. The Beacats responded with two goals of their own.
The first goal came with 6:04 left in the second scored by Rudolfs Jirgensons, and assisted by Blake Miller and Levin Berden. Then they got another one right back five minutes later with a goal scored by Mason Jachthaber and he was assisted by Barrett Niewgiowski and Sean O'Conner.
Ezra Ford got the start today playing 29 minutes saving 11 shots. Then he was replaced by Lendon Arledge who played the rest of the game saving 27 shots throughout his time in net.
The Bearcats will go on the road next to play a two-game series with Kansas on October 17th and 18th.
