LEBANON, Ill. – The McKendree M3 Hockey team fell in a close game against Drury on September 19th at the Metro Rec Plex.  

For the Bearcats, the goal came off a power play with 7:37 left in the first period, off the stick of Ghenrikh Rhozkov for his first goal of the season. He was assisted by a nice pass from Atticus Arth. This goal would tie the game at 1-1 until the third period when Drury would get the goal to pull ahead. 

McKendree spent a combined time of 31 minutes in the penalty box with most of the penalties coming in the first period. The Panters only spent 20 minuets in the box spending most of the game in a power play or even strength.  

In net for the Bearcats was Dominic Hite who tallied up 29 saves off 31 shots on the goal.  

The Bearcats will be back at the Rec Plex for the final game against Drury on Saturday at 7:00 PM.
