No.22 Women's Soccer Collects Four All-League Honors; Gleckler, Mauch, Cormier Tabbed First Team

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. | Great Lakes Valley Conference - No.22 McKendree University women's soccer collected its first postseason honors of the campaign as four Bearcats were selected to All-GLVC squads, including three first-team awards in junior midfielder Maggie Gleckler, junior defender Zoe Cormier, and sophomore forward Maddie Mauch, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. The Bearcats led the league in first team selections with all three headlining the league in performance while graduate defender Lexie Munoz added her first postseason honor since joining the Bearcats three seasons ago. Nationally-ranked McKendree, the lone program from the conference to sit in DII's Top 25, heads into the semifinal round of the GLVC Championship Tournament on Friday as the highest remaining seed and will face third-seeded Maryville at 7:00PM. The Bearcats will look to punch their ticket to the GLVC Championship in the #2 versus #3 match up, seeking their third conference tournament title since 2020 and fifth overall.

FIRST TEAM | Maggie Gleckler | Junior | Midfielder
Gleckler, the 2023 GLVC Freshman of the Year and previously two-time honoree, collected her highest All-GLVC nod with the First Team laurels after continuing her more than impactful play over the 2025 campaign. The Rochester, Illinois-native jumped into her heightened role for the Bearcats as she tallied 25 points through the regular season behind an NCAA Division II-leading 13 assists while also firing six goals, three of which were game-winners. She sits atop the assists category in the GLVC while holding position among leaders in points (3rd) and game-winners (t-6th), putting up points in 11 of 18 games this fall overall and nine of 14 conference bouts. Gleckler's year was highlighted by a four-assist game in a 4-1 road win over then-No.19 Maryville while she also tallied three in the win at home over UIndy. With her outstanding performance this fall, she set career marks in all major categories: Goals (6), Assists (13), Points (25), Game-Winners (3), Shots (51), and SOG (19).

In the postseason sphere, Gleckler owns three All-GLVC team selections (2025 - First, 2024 - Third, 2023 - Third) while capturing the GLVC's Freshman of the Year in the 2023 campaign when the Bearcats won the GLVC Tournament crown in East Peoria, Illinois.

FIRST TEAM | Zoe Cormier | Junior | Defender
Cormier, a now two-year starter for the Bearcats, came into her own to lead a McKendree defense this season and the league recognized quickly. The junior out of Rochester, Illinois, not only helped headline a league-leading defense but also tallied five goals with one assist for 11 points on the campaign. The defense for McKendree has allowed just nine goals on the year with a 0.50 goals allowed average and owns a 1.83 margin for the fall, all of which leads the conference. Cormier, in turn, has started 15 games while playing in 17 on the year, tallying nearly 1200 minutes (full-time in nine). She has two multi-goal games including in a decisive 4-1 win over then-No.19 Maryville and two over UIndy. The year also has been full of career-firsts with her first collegiate goal coming against William Jewell on September 21, first career multi-goal game against then-No.19 Maryville on October 12, and her first game-winner on October 24 versus UIndy.

The First Team selection in 2025 marks her first postseason honor.

FIRST TEAM | Maddie Mauch | Sophomore | Forward
The 2024 GLVC Freshman of the Year came into the season with fury, finding her stride in GLVC play. The Columbia, Illinois-native has fired 11 goals on the campaign with 10 coming during regular season conference action, putting her third in the league. Mauch has 23 points this season, making her fourth overall in the conference while also firing six game-winners, including the decisive strikes over Drury, Missouri S&T, then-No.19 Maryville, Lewis, Upper Iowa, and versus Lewis in the quarterfinal on Sunday. Mauch's impact throughout the season included more than just statistics but she headlined it with two multi-goal games (at Maryville, vs Lincoln) while scoring in nine of 14 league contests overall. The forward has career marks in major categories with her performance this season, including goals (11), game-winners (6), points (23), shots (53), and SOG (30).

The award marks Mauch's first All-GLVC team selection and her second postseason award with her Freshman of the Year nod during the 2024 campaign.
