BELLEVILLE, Ill. – McKendree Women's bowling team finished sixth out of the field of 23 teams that competed at the McKendree Match Games at Bel Air Bowl this past weekend.
The tournament slate consisted of five traditional games on Saturday and then 16 baker games on Sunday with a cut to the top four after the baker games.
Individually, Grace Ogle, Addysen Case, Alexa Valadez and Cierra Brown each had four accredited games finishing with combined scores of 809, 751, 648 and 619 respectively. Jaycie Smith and Shanna Kimball had three accredited games each where they finished with 531 and 494 respectively. Emma Zinn had two accredited games and combined for a total pinfall of 308, and Enairys Diaz had one game where she bowled 129.
Throughout the entire tournament, the team had a total pinfall of 7,229 to finish in sixth out of the 23 total teams.
Next, McKendree will have two teams competing, one on January 16th through the 18th in New Castle, Delaware for the Northeast Classic for an NCAA tournament hosted by Sacred Heart. The other team will compete in Addison, Illinois for the Kegel-ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic on January 17th and 18th.
