Case Takes Home Tournament MVP in Windy City Halloween Classic

DES PLAINES, Ill. – The McKendree Women's Bowling team finishes fifth out of 14 teams in the Windy City Halloween Classic hosted by Valparaiso at River Rand Bowl this past weekend.

Unfortunately, McKendree missed out on forcing the seventh baker game by seven pins and would now go to the fifth-place match.

In their placement match they would go on to beat seventh seed Carroll University in just five games to secure fifth in the tournament.

The team would end with a total pinfall of 12,767 throughout the tournament.

McKendree also had a team compete in the Lions Classic hosted by Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. They were able to fight their way to a second-place finish after qualifying fourth and then going 4-2 in bracket play.

The team collected a total pinfall of 4,711 in qualifying which included three traditional and 12 baker games. Leading the team individually was Vicki Andrews who finished 12th, averaging 179. Victoria Porta and Ava Lewis also had three complete games, averaging 156.7 and 153.7 respectively.
