No. 17 Men's Volleyball Set to Host Two Top-20 Matches

LEBANON, Ill. - The No. 17 McKendree University men's volleyball team is set to host No. 15 Ohio State at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, and No. 8 Ball State at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22.

The Bearcats sport a conference record of 3-1 and an overall record of 6-5. In the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association, McKendree is ranked No. 1 in digs, averaging 10.22 digs a set. Senior middle blocker D'Aaron McCraney leads the conference in hitting percentage, hitting .455. Junior libero Yadiel Diaz ranks second in the conference in digs, averaging 2.37 per set.

No. 15 Ohio State is currently 2-1 in conference play and is 5-6 overall. The Buckeyes are led by opposite hitter Shane Wetzel, averaging 3.50 kills per set and 1.33 kills per set.

No. 8 Ball State holds a 2-1 conference record and a 9-4 overall record. The Cardinals are led by outside hitter Patrick Rogers averaging 3.04 kills per set and setter Lucas Machado averaging 1.79 digs per set.
