CHICAGO, Ill. - McKendree University men's volleyball team fell in their initial MIVA (Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association) game on the road to the No.7 Loyola University of Chicago Ramblers.  

The Ramblers completed the three set sweep with scores of 25-21, 27-25, and 26-24. 

Redshirt junior Sam Hoskin led the way for the Bearcats with 10 kills, and eight digs. Junior libero Yadiel Diaz had eight digs as well, tied with Hoskin for the most on the team. Fifth-year opposite hitter Nikos Xydakis had eight kills, and six digs. Senior outside hitter Kevin Schuele also added in 6 digs and 7 kills.  

Junior middle blocker Rolen Lively added in five blocks to lead all players. Sophomore setter Nate Flayter notched 28 assists to go along with five digs.  

The Bearcats see the court again this Sat. Feb. 8 on the road against the Lewis University flyers in Romeoville Ill at 7:00 P.M.
