No. 10 Men's Volleyball Set to Host No. 14 Lewis

LEBANON, Ill. - The No. 10 McKendree University men's volleyball team is set to play No. 14 Lewis University this Saturday, March 15, at 5 p.m. for a conference match up.

The Bearcats rank first in the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association, sporting a conference record of 7-1 and an overall record of 12-5. McKendree currently ranks first in digs in the MIVA with 10.80 per set and second in kills and assists with 12.78 kills per set and 11.95 assists per set. Sophomore setter Nate Flayter ranks eighth in the nation for assists with 10.12 per set.

Lewis is currently ranked third in MIVA play, posting a 6-2 conference record and 16-4 overall record. The last matchup between the Flyers and the Bearcats occurred earlier this season, with McKendree taking down Lewis in four sets. The Flyers are led by opposite side hitter Oguzhan Oguz, with 3.77 kills per set, and libero Nico Paula, with 2.69 digs per set.

Saturday's match will be streamed on the GLVC Sports Network, and live statistics will be available.
