INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - McKendree University men's swimming saw senior Jackson Lustig take first place in the 100-yard butterfly, setting a new personal best and claiming his first national title in the event with a time of 45.85.
The men's 200-yard freestyle was highlighted by freshman Vova Gavrysh, who took home silver in 1:34.57; A school record and career best.
Capping off the night the 400-yard medley relay of junior Patryk Rozenek, freshman Nojus Bertulis, Lustig, and junior Tyson Upton placed second also breaking the school record with a mark of 3:07.01.
The Bearcats splash back into action tomorrow for the 500-yard fly, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard breaststroke and 200-yard freestyle relay.
