No. 10 Men's Volleyball Set to Play One at Home, One Away This Week

LEBANON, Ill. - The No. 10 McKendree University is set to play Lindenwood University at home on Wednesday, March 19 at 7 p.m. and Quincy University on the road Saturday, March, 22 at 5 p.m.

The Bearcats are ranked first in the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association standings. McKendree sports an 8-1 conference record and a 13-5 overall record. Senior middle blocker D'Aaron McCraney leads the conference in hitting percentage with .451. Junior libero Yadiel Diaz is ranked second in digs with 2.36 per set and Nate Flayter ranks third in assists with 10.09 per set.

Lindenwood is ranked sixth in MIVA play with a conference record of 3-6 and overall record of 6-11. The Lions are led by outside hitter Brendan Louthain with 3.25 kills per set and setter Zach Solomon with 1.77 digs per set.

Quincy is ranked eighth in the MIVA standings with a 1-7 conference record and a 7-11 overall record. The Hawks are led by opposite side Aleksandar Sosa with 3.34 kills per set and libero Victor Scherer with 2.01 digs per set.

Wednesday's match will be themed Pride Night. Both games will be streamed on the GLVC Sports Network and live statistics will be available.
