No. 10 Men's Volleyball to Play Two Top 20 Matches on the Road

LEBANON, Ill. - No. 10 McKendree University men's volleyball is set to compete against No. 17 Ohio State on Thursday, March 27 at 6 p.m. and No. 14 Ball State on Saturday, March 29 at 4 p.m. on the road.

The Bearcats sport a 10-1 conference record and are 15-5 overall after taking down MIVA foes Lindenwood and Quincy last week. McKendree currently ranks first in the conference in digs with 10.58 per set and second in assists and kills with 12.01 assists per set and 12.82 kills per set. Senior middle blocker D'Aaron McCraney leads the conference in hitting percentage, hitting .463. Junior libero Yadiel Diaz is second in the conference in digs with 2.33 per set.

The Buckeyes are currently 6-5 in MIVA play and 11-10 overall. The Buckeyes are led by opposite-side hitter Shane Wetzel, with 3.60 kills per set and 1.52 digs per set. The last matchup between the Buckeyes and Bearcats occurred earlier this season, with McKendree defeating Ohio State in four sets.

The Cardinals post an 8-3 conference record and a 16-8 overall record. Ball State is led by outside hitter Patrick Rogers with 3.12 kills per set and 1.63 digs per set. The Bearcats took down the Cardinals earlier this season in five sets.

Thursday's match against Ohio State will be streamed on the Big Ten Network, and Saturday's match will be shown on ESPN. Live statistics will be available for both matches.
