LEBANON, Ill. - The No. 11 McKendree University men's volleyball team is set to play two non-conference matches against Maryville University in St. Louis on Wednesday, March 5, and Missouri S&T at home on Saturday, March 8.
McKendree is currently ranked No. 1 in the MIVA standings, with a record of 7-1 in MIVA play and 10-5 overall. The Bearcats currently rank first in digs in the conference with 10.63 per set and second in kills and assists with 12.79 kills per set and 11.93 assists per set.
Maryville sports an overall record of 7-6, with their last matchup between the Bearcats being earlier this season, falling in three sets. The Saints are led by opposite side hitter Luke Kraft, with 3.83 kills per set, and libero Zac Clark with 2.42 digs per set.
Missouri S&T is currently 7-8 overall, and this will be the first matchup between the Miners and Bearcats this season. The last matchup occurred on March 6, 2024, where the Bearcats swept the Miners. Missouri S&T is led by outside hitter Nate Meyer, with 3.14 kills per set, and libero Bartosz Chmielewski, with 1.98 digs per set.
