No. 11 Men's Volleyball Set to Play One Away, One at Home This Week

LEBANON, Ill. - The No. 11 McKendree University men's volleyball team is set to play Missouri S&T on the road on Wednesday, April 2 at 7:00 p.m. and one at home against Quincy on Saturday, April 5 at 5:00 p.m.

The Bearcats are currently ranked No. 2 in the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association, sporting a 10-3 conference and 15-7 overall record. Offensively, McKendree is led by redshirt junior Sam Hoskin with 2.99 kills per set and sophomore setter Nate Flayter with 10.03 assists per set. On the defensive end, junior libero Yadiel Diaz and Flayter lead the way with 2.26 digs per set.

The Miners post a 10-10 overall record, after going 2-0 in the 2025 Miner Volleyball Classic. McKendree took down Missouri S&T earlier this season in four sets. Outside hitter Nate Meyer leads the Miners with 3.20 kills per set and libero Bartosz Chmielewski with 2.11 digs per set.

The Hawks are currently 2-10 in MIVA play and 8-14 overall. The Bearcats took down Quincy in four sets earlier this season. The Hawks are led by opposite-side Aleksandar Sosa with 3.40 kills per set and libero Victor Scherer with 1.97 digs per set.
