LEBANON, Ill – McKendree Women's Powerlifting team received an invite to the 2025 USAPL/IDFPA Student and University World Championship in Waltham, Massachusetts on May 10-11^th.

The Bearcats received this invite by placing in the top three at the USAPL Collegiate Nationals. The Bearcats will be sending eight women to compete in the Worlds Championship. 

Seniors Zariah Valentine and Isabelle Rivera will compete in the 52kg weight class and 60kg weight class, respectively.

Juniors Elizabeth Collins and Hannah Alexander will compete in the 65kg weight class and 100kg weight class, respectively.

Sophomores Cherish Anderson (48kg), Marijayne Hochgraber (75kg), Maram Makhlouf(90kg) and Carly Reese (100+kg) will be competing.
