OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.. – The Women's Raw Powerlifting Team placed 3^rd at the 2025 USAPL Collegiate Nationals this past weekend in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Women's Equipped Powerlifting Team placed 8^th.

The Raw team had six competing athletes who had qualified for the national's competition through their outstanding performances this season. They were led by senior Isabelle Rivera who placed 2^nd in the 60kg weight class bringing in nine points for McKendree. Junior Hannah Alexander placed 3^rd in the 100kg weight class bringing in eight points, sophomore Carly Reese placed 5^th in the 100+kg weight class bringing in 6 points, and sophomore Cherish Anderson placed 6^th in the 44kg weight class bringing in 5 points. The team was also represented by MaryAnn Romagna (21^st) and Brylee Throgmorton (25^th).

The equipped team had five competing athletes who had qualified for the national competition through their outstanding performances this season. They were led by senior Zariah Valentine who placed 3^rd in the 52kg weight class bringing in 8 points for the Bearcats. Other scorers were Gabriella Cabrera (7^th), Marijayne Hochgraber(7^th), Maram Makhlouf (10^th), and Elizabeth Collins (14^th).

Zariah Valentine, Isabelle Rivera and Hannah Alexander all become All-Americans with their performances.
