Men's Volleyball Signs Six to 2026 Roster

LEBANON, Ill. - McKendree University head men's volleyball coach Nickie Sanlin announced the signing of six student-athletes to the Bearcats' roster for the 2026 season.

Alexander Griffon | Middle Blocker | St. Louis, Mo.
Griffon, a 6-foot-6 standout from Lafayette Sr. High, brings a winning pedigree to McKendree, having led the Lancers to the 2024 MSHSAA State Championship. He has earned numerous accolades, including All-State, Academic All-State, and First Team All-Conference honors, and played club for High Performance STL.

Hudson Whitehead | Outside Hitter | Dallas, Texas
Whitehead, a 6-foot-4 outside hitter from the Covenant School, was ranked the top outside hitter in Texas. He earned Texas All-State and AAU All-American honors while playing club for Coast Volleyball.

Landon Smith | Middle Blocker | Ponte Vedra, Fla.
A towering 6-foot-10 presence at the net, Landon Smith is set to join the Bearcats. The Ponte Vedra High School senior competes for Jacksonville Skyline, a prominent club team based in Florida. 

Dylan Ho | Outside Hitter | Las Vegas, Nev.
Ho, a 6-foot-3 outside hitter from Palo Verde High School, played for Vegas United 8 Black. He was named the 2024 Nevada Player of the Year and graduated with high honors, earning accolades for academic and physical education achievement.

Ethan Jennings | Opposite | Town and Country, Mo.
A redshirt freshman transfer from Pepperdine University, Jennings adds collegiate-level experience to the Bearcats. The Parkway West graduate is a former AVCA and VolleyballMag First Team All-American and a 2021 state champion in Missouri.

Bryce Bowsher | Outside Hitter | Redondo Beach, Calif.
Set to join the Bearcats for the 2026 season, Bowsher transfers from Long Beach City College. A 6-foot-3 outside hitter, he played club volleyball with SCVC and Evolution.

"I couldn't be more excited to welcome this group of incredibly talented young men to the Bearcat family.  They embody everything I look for in a McKendree Volleyball player— competitors, strong character, and a commitment to hard work and excellence both on and off the court," added Sanlin.  "These young men come from great families, and they represent the future of our program.  This class fits the culture we've built here, and I'm confident they'll continue to raise the standards set before them."
