KENOSHA, Wis. – Women's Volleyball competed in their first match of their weekend at the Hampton Inn Invitational. The Bearcats faced-off against the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Rangers. Wisconsin-Parkside outlasted McKendree, handing the Bearcats a 0-3 loss with the scores of 14-25, 21-25, 18-25.

In McKendree's match up with the Rangers, the Bearcats could not find a defensive stop for the Rangers offense. Senior libero Ashlyn Berczynski led the back court with 9 digs, but it was no match for the offensive production from the Rangers that recorded a total of 48 kills. Wisconsin-Parkside's defense was on lock throughout the duration of tonight's match. The Ranger's recorded 55 digs along with 6 blocks, making McKendree's offensive success minimal. The Bearcats ended the match with 29 kills and freshmen opposite Avery Wuebbels led the offense with 9 kills.

Next up for the Bearcats at the Hampton Inn Invitational will be a 2:00 P.M. match against the Bemidji State University Beavers tomorrow, September 12th.
