#1 | TRYSTAN DU PLESSIS | SENIOR | PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA
Du Plessis returns to the lineup in the #1 position after a 2024-25 season filled with consistency and high finishes. He posted a top-10 at the Ken Partridge Invitational (-1 / 215) and earned All-Tournament honors at the Bearcat Dual Gender (215) while guiding McKendree to a home-course title. With multiple under-par rounds last year, Du Plessis is set to once again lead the Bearcats into competition.Â
#2 | TRISTAN TRAUSTASON | FRESHMAN | AKRANES, ICELAND
Traustason makes his McKendree debut in the #2 slot. Traustason tied with Du Plessis for the top spot in qualifying, immediately showing he arrived ready to play and compete. Coach Guffey praised his "unlimited" potential, pointing to the same poise that stood out during the recruiting process. With a quiet confidence and unique way of seeing the golf course, Traustason has already impressed and looks primed to make an impact in his debut season.Â
#3 | EDISON WU | FRESHMAN | SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA
Wu enters his first season in the Bearcat lineup at #3. Wu earned his place in the lineup to open the year, stepping into a spot made available by the graduation of two seniors. Though new to the program, he brought a fresh look and quickly proved himself against his teammates. Coach Guffey emphasized that Wu has already stepped up when given the chance, and the decision to trust him in the #3 slot was an easy one.Â
#4 | DHAYANIJ IEMKANITCHAT | SENIOR | BANGKOK, THAILAND
Iemkanitchat provides valuable veteran experience at the fourth spot in the lineup. He highlighted his 2024-25 season with a 3rd-place finish at the Bearcat Dual Gender (213) to help McKendree defend its home course. Additional strong showings included a Top-25 at the Midwest Regional Preview and a Top-15 at the Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff. His ability to deliver low scores and stay consistent against deep fields makes him a key piece of the Bearcats' lineup.Â
#5 | THIERRY BOUCHER | SOPHOMORE | LONDON, ENGLAND
Boucher moves into the official lineup after gaining tournament experience last season. He tied for 61st at the Ken Partridge Invitational (226) and competed in multiple fall events, including a top-50 at the Kansas City Cup. Now positioned at #5, Boucher has the opportunity to translate last year's growth into scoring rounds for McKendree.Â
INDIVIDUAL | AIDAN O'KEEFE | JUNIOR | FERGUSON, MISSOURI
O'Keefe continues in the individual role after a year of steady progress. His season featured a Top-25 finish at the Kansas City Cup and consistent outings at both the Bearcat Dual Gender and Midwest Regional Preview.
