SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – McKendree hosted a 25-boat invitational on Springfield Lake Sunday, with teams from ten different colleges.
It was a tough bite on the lake today. Sophomores
Chase Logue and
Mason Darling squeaked out the win over a team from SIUC, with just 26/100ths over SIUC's weight. Their five bass limit weighed 14.37 pounds. Senior Kai Barrett and sophomore Carson Belvile took third with five bass weighing 12.21 pounds. Senior

Kyle Hopping rounded out the top five with five bass for 11.88 pounds. A team from SIUC took second, and a team from Drury took fourth.
