LEBANON, Ill. – McKendree men's volleyball is set to travel to Ball State on Thursday, Feb. 12th, followed by a trip to Purdue Fort Wayne on Friday, Feb. 13th, as the Bearcats enter another week of MIVA competition. Thursday's match at Ball State will be at 6:00 PM CT, and Friday's match at Purdue Fort Wayne will be at 5:00 PM CT.
Coming off a split weekend, McKendree is entering the second week of MIVA play with a 1-1 record after sweeping Lewis and falling short against Loyola Chicago. The Bearcats' offense is led by redshirt senior outside hitter

Nate Flayter orchestrates McKendree's offense, sitting at 368 assists. On the defensive side of the ball, Flayter leads all players in the back court with 76 digs, followed by graduate libero

Rolen Lively leads the way with 36 total blocks, followed by Wetjen with 29.
Ball State is entering the weekend with a 2-0 conference record after sweeping Queens in back-to-back matches. The Cardinals' offense is led by senior outside hitter Patrick Rogers with 141 kills, followed by sophomore opposite Ryan Louis with 125. Junior setter Lucas Machado sets up Ball State's offense, tallying 366 assists. Defensively, Rogers leads the back court with 59 digs, followed by Machado and sophomore outside hitter Will Basilio, both with 51. At the net, Louis leads with 36 blocks, followed by junior middle blocker/opposite Braydon Savitski-Lynde with 35.
After sweeping MIVA newcomer Northern Kentucky, Purdue Fort Wayne enters the week with a 1-0 record in conference play. Offensively, the Mastodons are led by sophomore outside hitter/opposite Owen Banner with 97 kills, followed by freshman outside hitter Carlo Huisden and junior opposite Logan Muir, both with 79. Sophomore setter Hunter Hopkins leads Purdue Fort Wayne's offense to success with 348 assists. In the back court, junior libero Andrew Mayer leads with 57 digs, followed by Hopkins with 52. At the net, junior middle blocker Casey Lyons paves the way with 31 blocks, followed by junior opposite Kaden Fosdick with 28.
