CORALVILLE, Iowa | Xtreme Arena - No.2 McKendree University women's wrestling finished up its regular season competition over the weekend on Sunday at the inaugural For Her Duals, going 2-2 but battling without some of its top individuals while taking on top-level adversaries. The Bearcats easily disposed of its opening two opponents in William Jewell, 45-0, and Ursinus, 42-3, before narrowly dropping to No.1 Iowa, 24-19, and No.1 (NAIA) Life, 27-18. McKendree returns all of its top individuals for its first postseason action with the NCAA Regional Championships on February 21 and 22 at Hyland Arena on the campus of Lindenwood University. The Bearcats will look to push out max national qualifiers in pursuit of the first official NCAA Women's Wrestling National Championship on March 6-7 back at Xtreme Arena in Coralville. McKendree finishes the year with an 18-3 overall record in duals on the 2025-26 campaign.
