FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) announced senior opposite
Bryce Wetjen as offensive player of the week Tuesday morning.
This marks Wetjen's first career MIVA offensive player of the week honor.
Wetjen, the Las Vegas, Nev. native, earns his first career MIVA offensive player of the week award after tallying 42 kills across nine sets, averaging 4.67 kills/set, while averaging a hitting percentage of .392 percent. Wetjen scored a total of 43 points throughout nine sets of play, highlighted by a 26 kill performance in a five set victory over Belmont Abbey, racking in 5.2 kills/sets with a .452 hitting percentage. Wetjen added in 11 digs to McKendree's 2-0 week.
UP NEXT: The Bearcats look to take on Harvard in a two match series with the first match being this evening, Tuesday, at 7:00 PM. McKendree will follow with a 5:00 PM match against Harvard on Wednesday night.
