Bearcat Women's Basketball lands three All-GLVC Picks

Parks, Taylor, and Moeller all given postseason honors from the conference

Lebanon, IL - The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced its 2025-26 Women's Basketball All-GLVC honorees on Wednesday, March 4th, with three McKendree Bearcats honored. Baylie Parks (first team), Kyra Taylor (second team), and Kylie Moeller (sportsmanship) all received postseason recognition for their respective roles on the Bearcat roster during the season.

BAYLIE PARKS | FIRST TEAM ALL-GLVC
The junior and Lake Zurich, IL native continues to find herself towards the top of Bearcat box scores, and that has come to fruition in 2026 with yet another All-GLVC honor. Parks has been a bit of a double-double factory during the 2025-2026 campaign, tallying eight double-doubles. Perhaps her best this season came on February 7th against UIS, when Parks scored a career-high 35 points to go with 14 rebounds. That stat line earned her one of her two GLVC Player of the Week honors for the season.

For the Season
376 points, 146-of-280 shooting (52.1%), 10-of-37 3-pointers (27.0%), 74-of-98 (75.5%), 219 rebounds (9.1 rpg), 38 assists, 16 blocks, 40 steals

KYRA TAYLOR | SECOND TEAM ALL-GLVC
The sophomore and Davenport, IA native has always been a force for McKendree's interior efforts on the defensive and offensive side of the ball. Offensively, Taylor served as one of the team's most consistent scorers. Since scoring 10 points on December 20th at Missouri Western, that started a run of 11 straight games in double figures and 14 times in 15 games. She was able to balance that with two double-doubles this season, with both coming against Southwest Baptist. In the meeting in Lebanon, Taylor had 22 points and 10 rebounds. On the return trip to Bolivar, she had 25 points and 11 rebounds.

For The Season
350 points, 119-of-252 shooting (47.2%), 112-of-140 free throws (80.0%), 112 rebounds ($.3 rpg), 36 assists (1.4 apg), 7 blocks, 15 steals

KYLIE MOELLER | JAMES R. SPALDING SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD
The freshman and East Peoria, IL native is McKendree's recipient of the James R. Spalding Sportmanship Award. Moeller is one of 15 student-athletes from the GLVC's member universities that have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These individuals must be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting. The honorees from full-time member GLVC instittions are now eligible to become one of their school's two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced at the end of the academic year.
