GREENVILLE, Ill. – McKendree's men's track and field team competed in the Greenville Select Meet, earning 12 top five placements across various events.
In the 100m,
Cincere Ruffin placed fourth with a time of 10.81.
Amari Officer followed placing fifth with a time of 10.87.
Ruffin also grabbed a third place finish in the 200m with a time of 21.61.
Grabbing an eighth place finish in the 400m with a time of 51.30 was
Nahuel Badia.
Diego Paz Denis finished second in the 1500m with a time of 3:57.41.
In the 5000m,
Blake Westrater grabbed second with a time of 15:47.33.
Reed Florey followed with an eighth place finish with a time of 16:36.00.
Adriano Brown finished fifth in the 400 hurdles with a time of 57.12.
Squad A for the Bearcats finished second in the 4 x 100 relay with a time of 41.80.

Kannon Creamer, Officer, and Ruffin composed the squad.
In the 4 x 400 relay, McKendree's squad A, composed of Badia, Denis, Brown, and
Roemello Byndloss, grabbed a first place finish with a time of 3:18.92.
Isaiah Ford placed first in the high jump with a mark of 1.90m.
Ruel Martin followed with a T-fourth place finish, marking 1.75m.
Cleon Sewell placed third in shot put with a mark of 15.89m.
Matthew Wilson followed, finishing tenth with a mark of 13.89m.
Sewell also grabbed a second place finish in discus, marking 46.42m.
Martin added a sixth place finish in javelin with a mark of 46.47m.
