LUBBOCK, Texas – McKendree baseball's Sage McMinn claims the National Colligate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) National Player of the Week announced this evening.  

Against Lincoln this past weekend, Sage went an impressive 10-14 with a .714 batting average in the series. He also showed his power at the plate blasting five homeruns and recording four doubles. His impressive hitting was able to notch 11 RBIs in to be a huge factor in the series to sweep Lincoln. He also came across to score 11 times for the Bearcats.  

He looks to continue this momentum with a four-game series against Lewis University.
