LEBANON, Ill. – The bass fishing program and Head Coach Jon Rinderer have announced that Dakoda Viley has signed with the McKendree Anglers.
Dakoda lives with his family in Hurdland, Missouri where he attends Knox County High School and is a member of the National Honor Society. He is also an active member of the Wentzville Student Anglers Club and has multiple top thirty finishes in the National Youth Fishing Association (NYFA).
He finished 17th in a Phoenix Bass Fishing League on Lake of the Ozarks. His favorite lakes to fish are Table Rock, Lake of the Ozarks (LOZ), and Baring Country Club Lake. He is comfortable fishing many techniques, but his favorites are flipping and pitching.
Viley is currently undecided on his major and will begin with general studies this fall.
"We are excited to announce that Dakoda Viley has officially signed with the Bearcats for the fall of 2026," said Rinderer. "Dakoda's work ethic, positive attitude, and dedication to the sport make him a great addition to our program. He is really looking forward to the opportunity to fish with the team, and we look forward to welcoming him to the campus in August."
