Paris, Tenn.- McKendree anglers competed on Kentucky Lake at the Big Bass Bash with two anglers finishing inside the top 100 this past weekend.
The annual ACA Big Bass Bash on Kentucky was extremely hot and tough for many anglers. The two-day tournament hosted 678 anglers in 320 boats from 57 different colleges. The temperature and humidity were though the roof, and the winds were barely moving making for a tough tourney. The entire field weighed in a total of 377 bass over the two-day period with an angler from Troy University winning the event with a 6.97-pound largemouth.
Freshman angler,
KJ Jamison, weighed in the biggest bass for the Bearcats. His 4.60 pounder was good for 50th place overall.
Parker Welch had the second best McKendree fish with 4.15 for 88th place. School of the Year points are based on a team's best two fish, these two will be used to determine our McKendree points total.

Chase Logue.
The Bearcat anglers will be traveling to compete in the Major League Fishing event this Friday on Lake Guntersville in Guntersville, Alabama.
