INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. | Great Lakes Valley Conference - McKendree Univeristy women's soccer, coming off its ninth-straight NCAA Tournament berth and 10th-straight season with 12-plus wins, heads into its 2026 campaign this week and was selected to finish second in the GLVC,
as announced by the league on Wednesday afternoon. The Bearcats collected 170 points and one first-place vote with the majority of the team returning while adding key pieces, pushing the squad into a tie with Maryville for second in the poll, as voted on by the league's coaches. McKendree kicks off its season on the road at Saginaw Valley State on 8/27 with an 11:00AM kick off before hosting Union and Delta State on August 30 and September 1 at Leemon Field.
