BEFORE McK: Attended Fairfield High School in Fairfield, Ill. Participated in Basketball, Football and Track for where he was named All-State in Basketball and Football... state qualifier in the high jump in track along with being named All-Conference and All-South in all 3 sports. 

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 18...son of Justin and Marissa Townsend...majoring in Physical Education...has one brother, Tucker...father Justin played football at McKendree from 1996-99...lists the Los Angeles Lakers, Green Bay Packers, and St. Louis Cardinals as his favorite sports teams...hopes to become a teacher and coach in the future...member of Phi Eta Sigma at McKendree.
