(MARSHALL, Mo., Nov. 13)- The No. 25 McKendree University women's basketball team had four score in double figures, but it wouldn't be enough on Friday night as the Bearcats fell to Missouri Valley College, 67-65.

McKendree fell to 1-4 overall and will travel to Mayfield, Ky., on November 16th to play Mid-Continent University at 6 p.m.

The Bearcats held a narrow 39-35 edge at the half, but a late run by the host ended up being the difference in the game. McKendree only made four three-pointer's in the contest compared to Missouri Valley's seven successful attempts.

Senior guard Katie Fullerton (Coulterville, Ill., Coulterville) led McKendree with 18 points and seven rebounds, while sophomore forward Shelby Woelfel (Jerseyville, Ill., Jerseyville) scored a career-high 15 points. Junior forward Ashley Dressler (Columbia, Mo., Rock Bridge) and freshman guard Brittany Willis (St. Louis, Mo., Parkway South) both contributed 12 points.

Cassondra Copeland and Shateah West both led the Vikings with 18 points.
