(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 19)--The McKendree University football team will hit the road for the final time in 2012 when the Bearcats travel to Urbana, Ohio, to take on Urbana University in a Great Lakes Valley Conference contest. Kickoff is set for noon ET (11 a.m. CT) at Urbana University Stadium.

Cameron James (Edwardsville, IL/Edwardsville) led the way with 74 yards, while
Jeruel Taylor (University Park, IL/Marian Catholic) went 60 yards for a touchdown the only time he touched the ball against the Hawks. Quarterback
Isaac Fisher (Washington, IL/Washington) was just 3-of-14 through the air, but scrambled for 51 yards, including a seven-yard touchdown run.
Linebacker
Bryce Colvin (East Peoria, IL/East Peoria) registered a career-best 16 tackles on the defensive side of the ball for McKendree, while
Drake Schmudlach (Carthage, IL/Illini West) chipped in with eight stops.
Urbana moved to 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the GLVC following its 37-7 victory last Saturday at Saint Joseph's College. Jeffvon Gill piled up a game-high 170 rushing yards to pace the Blue Knights, while D.J. Mendenhall threw for 280 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Saturday's game will mark the fourth meeting on the football field between McKendree and Urbana. The teams last met during the 2007 season at Leemon Field, with the visiting Blue Knights holding on for a 23-21 win. Urbana holds a slight 2-1 edge in the all-time series with McKendree, which dates back to a 31-21 Bearcat triumph in 1998 in Lebanon.
McKendree will have an open date on its schedule next Saturday (Oct. 27) before closing the season with home games against Central State University on Nov. 3 and Saint Joseph's College on Nov. 10.
