Bearcat Football has 12 named All-GLVC for 2025

McKendree lands three 1st Team, five 2nd Team, and four Honorable Mention

Lebanon, IL - The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced its all-conference Football teams for the 2025 season on Monday afternoon, and the McKendree University Bearcats made the cut by way of 12 different players getting selected. There were three First Team selections, five Second Team selections, and four Honorable Mention selections among McKendree's honorees. 

EDDIE CLARK | RUNNING BACK | 1ST TEAM
- Logged 878 rushing yards on 205 carries (4.3 yards per carry) with 5 touchdowns, ranking first on the team in rushing
- Added 266 receiving yards on 18 catches with 3 receiving touchdowns
- Team-best 1,144 all-purpose yards, averaging 104.0 per game
- Also received the league's James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award

DAMEION HATTEN | DEFENSIVE LINEMAN | 1ST TEAM
- Totaled 40 tackles (23 solo, 17 assisted) across 11 games
- Led the team with 16.0 tackles for loss for 81 yards and 5.5 sacks for 41 yards
- Credited with three quarterback hurries and two forced fumbles

CHASE REEVES | KICKER/PUNTER | 1ST TEAM
- Went 15-for-22 on field goals (68.2%), with a long of 50 yards
- On PATs: went 25-for-27
- Handled punting duties, averaging 42.93 yards per punt over 54 punts, with 19 inside the 20

NICK CICERO | CENTER | 2ND TEAM
- Served as the team's starting center during the 2025 season
- Played in all 11 games with 2 total tackles from the defensive line
- Recorded 1 solo tackle and 1 assisted tackle

TANNER HOLLERICH | DEFENSIVE END | 2ND TEAM
- Posted 40 total tackles (23 solo, 17 assisted)
- Recorded 9.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks
- Notched a 15-yard fumble return for a touchdown - one of the defensive's two on the year

NICK BOVA | LINEBACKER | 2ND TEAM
- Second on the team with 73 total tackles (42 solo, 31 assisted)
- Added 8.5 tackles for loss for 36 yards and 2.5 sacks for 21 yards
- Also credited with two fumble recoveries

LOGAN TURBYFILL | LINEBACKER | 2ND TEAM
- Team leader with 77 tackles (40 solo, 37 assisted)
- Recorded 10.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks
- Grabbed two interceptions for 31 return yards and added two fumble recoveries

CYRIS DAVIS | DEFENSIVE BACK | 2ND TEAM
- Tallied 23 tackles (16 solo, 7 assisted)
- Led the team with three interceptions, totaling 21 return yards
- Added 1.0 tackles for loss

JAYLEN FORD | WIDE RECEIVER | HONORABLE MENTION
- Team leader in receptions with 43 catches for 553 yards and 2 touchdowns
- Averaged 50.3 yards per game, second on the team
- Finished second on the team with 1,130 all-purpose yards

MYLAN NETTLES | DEFENSIVE BACK | HONORABLE MENTION
- Recorded 40 total tackles (30 solo, 10 assisted)
- Added 1.5 tackles for loss
- Defended four passes (team leader)

DARYLE JONES JR. | WIDE RECEIVER | HONORABLE MENTION
- Team leader in receiving yards: 560 yards on 29 catches, averaging 19.3 yards per catch
- Scored 5 receiving touchdowns, with a long of 76 yards
- Finished with 587 all-purpose yards, adding kick return production

QUINCY HALL JR. | WIDE RECEIVER | HONORABLE MENTION
- Contributed 380 receiving yards on 22 catches with 2 touchdowns
- Returned 16 kickoffs for 398 yards (24.9 average), and a long of 60 yards
- Added 50 punt return yards on 4 returns, plus 854 all-purpose yards overall
