(LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 6)—The McKendree University women's track and field program returned to action Saturday at the Dr. Jim Green Invitational, which was hosted by Illinois College in Jacksonville, Ill.
The Bearcats had three athletes who earned top-eight finishes in their respective events, including a pair of top-two efforts. Junior
Kimberly Spencer (Pinckneyville, IL/Pinckneyville) (Pinckneyville, Ill./Pinckneyville) won the 60-meter dash in a time of 7.79 seconds. It marked Spencer's second victory in the 60-meter dash during the indoor season to go along with her triumph at the Eastern Illinois University Mega-Meet on Jan. 21.

Nadia Moore (Cahokia, IL/Cahokia) (Cahokia, Ill./Cahokia) was the runner-up in the high jump at the Dr. Green Invitational. Moore cleared a height of five feet, three inches, topping her previous season-best of five feet, one inch that was established at Eastern Illinois.

Airika Tyler (Wood River, IL/East Alton-Wood River) (Wood River, Ill./East Alton-Wood River) placed seventh in the 800-meter run on Saturday. Moore posted a time of 2:32.69.
McKendree will compete next at the Knox College Open on Saturday in Galesburg, Ill.
