(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla., Oct. 26)- The No. 17 McKendree University womens wrestling team posted a 4-2 record over the weekend and finished in seventh place at the Oklahoma City University Duals.

The Bearcats are now 8-4 overall and will host No. 8 Missouri Baptist University on Friday, Nov. 1 at 5 p.m.

McKendree posted a 3-1 record on Friday to finish as runner-up in their pool. McKendree defeated No. 5 Missouri Valley College, 25-21, and No. 8 Missouri Baptist, 30-5, before falling to No. 2 Oklahoma City, 40-6, to suffer its only loss of the day. The Bearcats bounched back in their final match of the day over No. 10 Midland University, 24-18.

McKendree dropped its first match on Saturday to No. 1 King College, 40-0, to fall to the seventh place match and earned a 24-20 victory over No. 8 Missouri Baptist University.
